The Kitchen Construction begins!

Jenni's new boyfriend Greg might never come back after visiting on the wrong weekend! Poor guy got involved in the demolition of Grandma's old kitchen! Roger and Jeff got roped in with Dad and tore out the entire kitchen today. They are all exhausted! Roger and Jeff don't get the option of not coming back! Greg is another story! Jenn may never forgive them!
The kitchen will look great when it is all finished and we will take photos all along the way of the progress. Sure hope it is done by Thanksgiving when everyone is coming home for a visit!!

Greg is smiling.....for now at least!
Jeff using his muscles to remove the old formica.
Check out that old orange mushroom wallpaper!  That goes way back a few remodeling projects ago!  Grandma Joan insists that it was in style 40 years ago.  Jeff disagrees!
Yuck!

Happy Birthday Mom!

I couldn't resist wishing my mom a Happy Birthday on her own blog. See, it pays to have the password! Good thing they keep raising the speed limit! You are still not at max speed yet! Thank you for all that you do for me and especially for my family. My girls wouldn't know what to do without you! You are the best!

Grandma's Girls?

Ali and Jenni both headed off to college, Jenn at BYU Idaho and Ali in Provo.
Ali in her Freshman Dorm room.
Julie with Chloe and Maggie.  Chloe tolerated Maggie and Maggie just couldn't figure out why that other dog didn't want to play!  Poor Chloe......just too old for a playmate!

J.D. is a Warrior

J.D. participated in a bike race this past weekend here in Utah. It was the Tour of Utah - 300 Warriors. He and three of his friends from California, rode 99 miles and 14,700 feet. He biked the Alpine Loop, Suncrest mountain, and it ended with the climb to Snowbird. It was fun to watch him and be a part of the fun.

Up the Alpine Loop

Goofing off with the guys!

Almost to the top of Snowbird

Day at the Races

We went to Evanston, Wyoming to see Uncle Duayne at the Wyoming Downs Race Track.

This is the Place Monument

Tyce's Special Day

Our grandson Tyce was baptized while he and his family were here visiting from Arizona. It was fun to have so many grandkids all together.
