My grandkids are the cutest in the whole world! This is just the beginning of the Thanksgiving week photos! More to come!!! All 4 families were here for Thanksgiving, Papa Doc's 70th birthday and McKenna's baptism. It was a fun week!

70 Years!  That's a lot of memories and pictures!!  

Some things haven't changed, you still have blonde hair and you are still wearing BYU sweatshirts!  We love you!  Thanks for all you have done for us and the memories and values you have shared with us!

WOW!!

Still a few things to do, but the kitchen is almost done!  It looks fabulous!  I can't wait to see the real thing!  I am so excited for mom!  See, change isn't all bad mom.  Just really messy!  No view from the other way, she is still doing some painting and stuff.

It's all coming together!

The kitchen is looking fabulous!  Even mom is thrilled with how it is coming together and she is not big on changes.  She hates making decisions and second guesses everyone she does make.  But...it is all coming together and she loves it!   Can't wait to see it for myself!

Forward Progress....

Today they came and started installing the cupboards.  Mom is now saying it might be worth the mess and really likes it a lot.  Whew!  The white fridge is temporary until the new black appliances are delivered.  Gotta have somewhere to keep the Pepsi!

More work.....

From what I hear from the not so hired help....it sure would be easier to get this done if Grama and Papa would go on a little vacation!  Kristi painted all day last week just to have mom tell her she didn't like it and to start over......even Jenni told Grama she was driving everyone crazy! So, Kristi repainted and tried a new color and I think mom likes it now.  You know if she went away and came back when it was done, she would LOVE it.  Anyone wanna kidnap grama for a week???

Slave driver I am telling you!

This is the painted wall.  The new cabinets arrived and are in the family room.  Installation should be on Tuesday....if Kristi can paint to mom's approval :)

The wall above the stairway is pretty rough so Kristi is texturizing it.  That is the part she had to redo--the hard part!  

That is one of the new cabinets.  I really like the color.  If everyone survives this big project, I think we will all really like it!  Especially mom.  Anyone who knows her knows she doesn't like changes.....and this is a big one!

More Work!

Gotta get it all torn apart.  The cabinets will be delivered on Tuesday!  Yeah!  Some progress instead of demolition!

Kristopher was the only one who was "young" enough to stand on the half wall and remove the wall paper!  Scary!

Looks like he is performing surgery!

I hear that Jeff and Roger would like it if mom and dad would just leave while they do the work!  Hmmmm.......
